2009: Appeared in 140 games and 37 matches...led the team in kills (390)...finished third in assists (54), fourth in service aces (27), second in digs (468), and tied for fourth in blocks (34)...matched a career-high with 20 kills against Bentley (11/14)...recorded a season-high of 22 digs twice (9/4 and 11/14).
2008: Played in 98 sets on the year...was second on the team in kills with 278, and led in kills per set with 2.84 and attack percentage with .260...also recorded 63 assists and 24 service aces over the season...recorded a season high of 20 kills in a 3-2 loss against Shippensburg (9/6).
At Lock Haven University Collected 80 kills, 37 assists, 23 services aces, and 96 digs on the year...on the Dean[apos]s list.
At Valley Stream South High School: Played volleyball for four years...four time All-Nassau County, two time All-Tournament MVP, All-State, All-Long Island, Nassau County Champs, captain her junior and senior years...member of the national Honor Society, Athletic Honor Society, Language Honor Society, Art Society and the Occupational Honor Society.
Personal: Daughter of Eric and Rhonda Pavels...majoring in physical education...has one younger sister, Melanie...enjoys beach volleyball, skiing, snowboarding, playing badminton and tennis, hiking, biking, and waterskiing.
