Honors and Awards: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (2012)...Named Northeast-10 Libero of the Week (9/14).

2012: Played in 139 sets and 37 matches...ranked fourth on the team in digs (225) and digs per set (1.62)...also totaled 39 service ace, 36 assists and 18 kills... tallied season-high 13 digs in 3-1 Northeast-10 Championship loss to New Haven (11/17). 

2011: Appeared in 102 sets and all 31 matches ... ranked fourth on the team with 210 digs and 2.06 digs per set ... had 21 service aces ... had season-high 21 digs in 3-2 win over C.W. Post (9/27) ... recorded nine digs in 3-0 win over Saint Rose to help Adelphi claim first ever NE-10 Tournament Championship (11/12) ... had 11 digs in 3-0 win over Stonehill in East Regional Quarterfinals (11/17).

2010: Appeared in 114 sets and 32 matches...finished second on the team with 30 service aces and third on the team with 322 digs...totaled 17 kills and 21 assists...recorded a season-high 30 digs in a 3-1 win over Sioux Falls on 9/10.

2009: Played in 48 games and 26 matches...had seven kills, 12 service aces, and 87 digs...recorded three service aces against Assumption (10/10)...registered a season-best 12 digs versus Holy Family (9/11).

At Sachem North High School: Played three years of varsity volleyball...was an All-Conference, scholar athlete and All-County Tournament Team honoree...participated in two years at the Empire State Games and four years at the Island Volleyball Academy...was named captain and MVP her senior year...member of the Varsity Club and the French Club as well as the Student and Class Government.

Personal: Daughter of Robert and Ellen Kahen...major is currently business management...enjoys shopping in free time...has a younger sister, Kristi.
