Rindge, N.H. — Head coach Rebecca Fakas and the Adelphi women's tennis team started their quest for back-to-back Northeast 10 titles.

Debuting three brand-new doubles pairings, the Panthers earned the first point of the day with a sweep.

Zuzanna Witkowska and Matilda Buchen won their No. 3 match, 6-0, while Kayla Castellano and Erle Helene Blaker were victorious, 6-4. The No. 1 duo of Roisin Boyd and Genesis Beltran won, 7-6 (7-4).

Blaker kept the momentum going into singles play with a 6-4, 6-1 win in the No. 3 match.

Witkowska was a winner as Adelphi's No. 1, 6-3, 6-2, while Buchen and Beltran capped off Adelphi's 5-2 victory in the No. 5 and No. 6 matches.
