Austin, Texas — Wrapping up her collegiate career with a wealth of honors,
Katarina Liedbeck of the Adelphi University women's tennis team has been named a First Team Academic All-American® by the College Sports Communicators for the third consecutive year.
Earning a 3.98 grade-point average while majoring in computer science and minoring in mathematics, Liedbeck, who was the first women's tennis player to repeat as an Academic All-American, is now the first women's tennis player to earn Academic All-America honors in three consecutive seasons.
The Bastad, Sweden, native was the 2025-26 Vern Cox Northeast 10 Player of the Year as the Panthers' No. 1 singles player, compiling an impressive 16-5 record. Teaming with
Roisin Boyd to win their second ITA East Region doubles title, the pair posted a 17-5 doubles record and ended the year on a six-match winning streak. The senior was recently recognized as the NE10's Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Liedbeck was also named a CSC Academic All-District selection, along with Boyd,
Sara Lindeman,
Genesis Beltran, Louca Bertone, Thomas Horsley, Viktor Hockl and Spyridon Papageorgiou.
