Waltham, Mass. – The Adelphi baseball team finished its 2026 regular season on Saturday afternoon at Bentley. The Panthers finished the season in fourth place in the NE10 and will host a first-round playoff on Tuesday at William J. Bonomo Field.

Game One: Bentley 10, Adelphi 2 (F/7)

How It Happened:
- Adelphi scored the first run of the afternoon on a two-out RBI double from Ramos.
- The lead did not last long, however, as Bentley immediately put itself in the driver's seat with a four-run first inning.
- The Panthers got one back in the second courtesy of a Rigogliosi RBI single, but it would be the last run Adelphi scored in game one.
- Bentley added three runs in the second, one in the third and two in the sixth to earn a 10-2 victory.
- The Panthers had chances in the game but left seven runners stranded.
Game 2: Bentley 7, Adelphi 3 (F/7)
Highlights:
- Johnny Catuosco finished the regular season on a 10-game hit streak after two hits across two games today.
- Matt Ryan had a season-high three hits.
- All Panthers one through seven in the lineup recorded a hit.
- Bryan McCleary tallied the team's lone RBI.
How It Happened:
- Adelphi scored in the first inning once again, with Zach DeMilt setting the table after being hit by a pitch.
- Catuosco moved him over with a single and McCleary drove the freshman in with an RBI double.
- The second run for the Panthers came across by way of a passed ball.
- Bentley got one back in the bottom half of the frame on an RBI single.
- Ari Gluck pitched a scoreless second, but the Falcons tied the game in the third.
- With the Panther bats quieted, Bentley took the lead in the bottom of the fifth after a walk, a wild pitch and a fielder's choice.
- Adelphi had the bases loaded in the top of the sixth but could not come through with any runs.
- The Falcons tacked on two more runs in the bottom of the sixth and, although the Panthers had their chances, they could not come through and fell 7-3.
