  • The lead did not last long, however, as Bentley immediately put itself in the driver's seat with a four-run first inning.
  • The Panthers got one back in the second courtesy of a Rigogliosi RBI single, but it would be the last run Adelphi scored in game one.
  • Bentley added three runs in the second, one in the third and two in the sixth to earn a 10-2 victory.
  • The Panthers had chances in the game but left seven runners stranded.

  • The second run for the Panthers came across by way of a passed ball.
  • Bentley got one back in the bottom half of the frame on an RBI single.
  • Ari Gluck pitched a scoreless second, but the Falcons tied the game in the third.
  • With the Panther bats quieted, Bentley took the lead in the bottom of the fifth after a walk, a wild pitch and a fielder's choice.
  • Adelphi had the bases loaded in the top of the sixth but could not come through with any runs.
  • The Falcons tacked on two more runs in the bottom of the sixth and, although the Panthers had their chances, they could not come through and fell 7-3.
