Flushing, N.Y. - Starting on Monday, April 27, Adelphi University will serve as the host for the 2026 Northeast 10 Conference women's tennis championship, at the USTATennis Center.
The Panther squad capped an undefeated 2025-2026 Northeast 10 regular season last week, sealing their fate as the NE10's outright regular season champion and No. 1 seed in the postseason NE10 Championship.
Adelphi has been a dominant force in the NE10 recently, appearing in three of the last four conference championship finals. The Panthers were dominant this year, rising as high as No. 20 in the national rankings and winning ever conference match with at least five wins (7-0, 6-1, 5-2). AU is also the winningest NE10 program currently playing in the league, having won four titles previous.
This year includes the added wrinkle of a spring championship. It's the first time the NE10 has played the women's tennis championship in the spring since the 2021 COVID season.
