Hookset, N.H. – The Adelphi baseball team traveled up to New Hampshire on Friday morning for the first of two doubleheaders with No. 22 Southern New Hampshire.

Game 1: No. 22 Southern New Hampshire 4, Adelphi 3 (F/7)
Highlights:
How It Happened:
- Adelphi struck first in the opening frame. A hit by pitch and two singles set up Robinson to drive in Johnny Catuosco for the first run of the day.
- Dylan Beirne kept the Penmen quiet in the first inning, but the home team got to the freshman in the bottom of the second. A pair of two-out walks led to a two-RBI single to give SNHU the lead.
- Adelphi's bats were kept quiet, and the home team added to its lead in the bottom of the fifth. An error, sacrifice bunt, double, walk and single put the Penmen up 4-1.
- The Panthers cut the deficit to two in the top of the seventh after a Rigogliosi RBI single, but it was not enough, as Adelphi fell 4-2 in the shortened game one.
Game 2: No. 22 Southern New Hampshire 6, Adelphi 5
Highlights:
- Johnny Catuosco went 3-for-5 with a double and a team-high three RBIs.
- Zach DeMilt drove in two runs and scored once.
- Ari Gluck had another impressive start, going six strong innings, allowing six hits, one earned run and striking out three.
How It Happened:
- The Panthers once again got on the board first, this time courtesy of a Johnny Catuosco double down the right field line.
- Adelphi extended the lead to 3-0 in the top of the second. Erick Duignan led off the inning after being hit by a pitch, and Ethan Snyder, who earned the start in left field, beat out an infield single before stealing second. DeMilt scored Duignan and moved Snyder over with an RBI groundout, and Catuosco added another RBI with a single to center.
- SNHU got a run back with a solo shot in the bottom of the third before both offenses quieted down.
- In the top of the sixth, Adelphi extended its lead. Duignan started the rally with an infield single, and after Rigogliosi was hit by a pitch, DeMilt drove in the Panthers' shortstop with a single.
- Catuosco followed with an RBI single, extending the lead to 5-1.
- Slowly but surely, the Penmen worked their way back into the game. After a two-run seventh and one run in the eighth, SNHU trailed by just one heading into the final inning.
- Back-to-back walks set the table for SNHU, and a single loaded the bases. Adelphi recorded one out for a potential double play, but JR Bozek delivered a walk-off two-run single for the Penmen.
