North Attleboro, Mass. – As the Adelphi women's and men's tennis seasons continue, the wins and accolades keep rolling in, as the league office announced on Tuesday morning.
Katarina Liedbeck and Louca Bertone have each been named the Northeast-10 Players of the Week.
Earning her fourth conference honor of the 2025-26 season, Liedbeck had a 3-1 week in matches against the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) and Queens. The No. 48-ranked singles player in the nation earned a ranked win at UDC in three sets, 5-7, 6-4, 10-6, but fell in a tightly contested No. 1 flight at Queens. Playing in the No. 16-ranked doubles pairing with Roisin Boyd, the duo went a perfect 2-0, with ranked wins over the No. 47 team from UDC (6-4) and the No. 22 team from Queens (7-5).
Bertone now has his second career NE10 honor. The graduate student was phenomenal at UDC last Monday, going 2-0. He defeated the Flames' No. 1 singles player 6-1, 6-3, and earned a No. 2 doubles victory with Spyridon Papagerogiou, 6-3.
The Adelphi men's and women's tennis teams are back in action on March 21 and March 22, with the women taking on Franklin Pierce on the 21st and the men playing on the 22nd.
