Worcester, Mass. - The Adelphi University field hockey team's six-game win streak came to an end on Tuesday evening, as the Panthers suffered a 2-1 setback to Assumption University.
After falling behind in the opening quarter, the Brown and Gold answered behind Sydney Flores' seventh goal of the season to send the two sides into halftime even at 1-1. The score remained deadlocked through the third quarter before the Greyhounds found the eventual game-winner less than a minute into the final frame.
