Philadelphia, Pa. — Head coach Rebecca Fakas and the Adelphi men's tennis team headed to Jefferson for a non-conference contest on Tuesday afternoon. 

The Panthers' no. 1 duo of Hugo Munoz Reinoso and Reece Farrow continued their impressive stretch of play, earning a 6-3 victory. Unfortunately for Adelphi, Jefferson would fight back and win the next two matches to earn the first team point. 

The 'Cats dropped the first two singles matches and trailed by three until Spyridon Papageorgiou and Rodrigo Ochoa were victorious to cut the deficit to one. 

Louca Bertone and Farrow were locked into two battles to decide the match and while Bertone won his match in three games, the Rams won the no. 5 match to squeak out a 4-3 win. 

Adelphi will return to the court on Saturday for a Northeast-10 tilt at Southern New Hampshire
