Deptford, N.J. — The Adelphi bowling team competed in the Chestnut Hill hosted Griffin Baker Classic over the weekend and put some impressive numbers. 

The 'Cats first win was a nailbiter over Norfolk State, 851-844 as Adelphi stole the victory in the later frames. The second win was a big one over rival Wagner. The 'Cats bowled their best baker game of the season, knocking down a season-high 1,178 pins. 

Tiffany Wong followed up her strong weekend at the Northeast Classic with  another impressive performance, leading the team in average per frame (17.24), overall fill percentage (74.5%) and strikes (36). 

Arianna Caballero had a strong performance, leading the team spare percentage with 62%

Giana Giampapa led the Brown in Gold in average first ball score (8.63) and first ball nine-plus percentage (63.1%). 

Carly Wu and Wong were tied for the Panther lead in single pin spares with 18, Caballero was close behind with 16.  

Head coach Arthur O'Connor and the 'Cats will return to the lanes in just under two weeks when they take part in the Wildcat Invitaional.
