Garden City, N.Y. — For the first time in 15 years, the Adelphi men's basketball team is nationally ranked in the NABC Division II Coaches Poll.
The team's number 24 ranking comes after two important conference wins over Bentley and Franklin Pierce. So far this season, head coach Dave Duke and the Panthers have accumulated 20 wins, the program's most since 2015-16. Some of including key victories over top Northeast-10 teams, then No. 7 Pace and Assumption.
Adelphi currently sits in first place in the NE10 with a 20-5, 12-2 NE10 record. This week, the 'Cats have crucial matchups at AIC (Wednesday at 7:30 PM) and at Saint Anselm (Saturday 3:30 PM).
