Adelphi Named a Top National University in U.S. News Best Colleges List

Garden City, N.Y. – The U.S. News and World Report has released its rankings for the top colleges and universities of 2026.
Adelphi was listed in the Top National Universities, placing 198th on the list. The school also found itself nationally ranked as having top programs in Business, Nursing, Psychology, Schools for Veterans and School Mobility.

Adelphi was one of three Northeast 10 schools to be ranked as a Top National University, placing above Pace and American International. Bentley, Assumption, Southern Connecticut State, Franklin Pierce and Southern New Hampshire were listed as Top Regional Universities in the North while Saint Anselm and Saint Michael's were on the list of Top National Liberal Arts Colleges.
