Gilbert, Ariz. — After an impressive fall season, the Adelphi women's tennis duo of Katarina Liedbeck and Roisin Boyd have been recognized as one of the best doubles teams in the nation. 

Last week, Liedbeck and Boyd were ranked the top pair in the east region and the No. 14 ranked team in all of Division II. 

These rankings come after an undefeated 6-0 fall season and the Panthers' second ITA East Region Doubles Championship. The duo defeated the No. 15 ranked team from Azusa Pacific in the consoloation round of the ITA Cup.

In singles play, Liedbeck was ranked the No.7 player in the region, Zuzanna Witkowska was No. 11 and Boyd was ranked No. 15.

Liedbeck, Boyd and the Adelphi women's tennis team will return to action for their spring season on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 1 p.m. when they host Saint Michael's.
