North Attleboro, Mass. - The Adelphi University volleyball trio of Macarty McQueen, Ana Carolina Westerich, and Elena Covic have received 'of the week' honors announced by the Northeast 10 Conference office on Monday.

Covic picks up her first Rookie of the Week recognition after a standout performance. She totaled 19 kills across seven sets, with a .245 attack percentage. In the victory against Queens College she tied her season high with 12 kills which she recently recorded against St. Anselm. Additionally, the Belgrade native added .71 blocks per set including four total blocks in a league win over American International. 

Westerich was responsible for her third Setter of the Week honor, recording her eighth and ninth double-double of the season in. She accumulated an even 10 assists per set, and leads the NE10 with 900 assists total and is ranked eighth overall in the country through last weekend's games. 

For the fifth time this season, McQueen earns the Player of the Week nod. Against AIC, she notched a double double with 16 kills and 13 digs, while adding two service aces. The senior was responsible for three solo blocks against Queens where she racked up 20 kills and a .395 hitting percentage to boot. She recorded 3.00 digs per set this week as well.

The Panthers take on Caldwell University at home on Tuesday Nov.4 at 6:00 p.m. and are looking to extend their six game win streak.
