Manchester, N.H. — After a successful ITA East Regional, the Adelphi women's tennis team was back on the court for a conference matchup with Saint Anselm.
The Panthers got off to a roaring start in the doubles portion of the match, losing only two games in three matches as Katarina Liedbeck and Roisin Boyd won 6-0, Sara Lindeman and Genesis Beltran were victorious 6-0 and the duo of Zuzanna Witkowska and Oda Solevag Halvorsen walked away with a 6-2 win.
Momentum was carried into singles play and the Cats made quick work of the Hawks as each match was won in two sets.
Liedbeck won 6-4, 6-0, Witkowska earned a 6-1, 6-3 win, Solevag Halvorsen was victorious 6-1, 6-1, reigning NE10 player of the week Boyd stayed hot with a 6-3, 6-0 win, Lindeman won 6-0, 6-2 and Beltran rounded the day off with a 6-1, 6-0 win.
Head coach Rebecca Fakas and the Panthers return to the court tomorrow to take on Southern New Hampshire.
