Madeleine Chaapel, the Adelphi University volleyball team played to a three-set sweep of Franklin Pierce on Saturday, to extend their current win streak to four. This also marks the fourth consecutive meeting with the Ravens that resulted in a three-set victory for the Panthers.
Chaapel was one of two players to reach double figure kills, as
Macarty McQueen chipped in 10 and added 11 digs for her sixth double-double of the season. The duo hit .609 and .320, respectively while teammate
Delaney Kiendra racked up a team-best .643 hitting percentage with nine kills.
It was the team's 14th match with eight or more aces, as they challenged the Ravens' defense with eight.
Adelphi returns to conference action with a rivalry game against American International College on Tuesday, Oct. 28. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m. inside the Center for Recreation and Sports.
