Mansfield, Mass. - A grand total of nineteen Panthers have been named to the NE10 Academic All-Conference Team for the Spring 2024 semester, the conference announced Thursday afternoon.
Once the NE10 All-Conference honors are released earlier in the spring, all athletes who held a minimum 3.30 grade-point-average are reconsidered for Academic All-Conference selection. The Brown and Gold led the NE10 in selections, the first season they've done so since Spring of 2021.
The spring season continues to be a dominant one for the 'Cats, as this marks thirteen consecutive spring semesters with double-digit winners, dating back to 2012.
In total, Adelphi finished with 42 honorees across the 2023-24 academic year, which now sets the new single-season record since the institution joined the NE10 in 2009-10. This breaks the previous record of 36 set in the 2015-16 academic year.
The highest individual vote-getters at each school will be entered into a ballot for the NE10 Sport Excellence Award. Those winners will be finalized next week.
