Mansfield, Mass. - A set of student-athletes from the Adelphi University men's swimming and diving team have been named to the NE10's Winter Academic All-Conference teams, it was announced by the league office.

Adelphi's Brian Klotsche, Cooper Rivers and Daniel Dalrymple trailed only Bentley (four) with three of the team's 11 spots. All three of them were on the four-man teams that placed third and set Adelphi program records in the 200 and 400 medley relays at the 2023 NE10 Championships with times of 1:34.41 and 3:27.53, respectively.

Klotsche adds to his stellar academic merits. He has made the NE10 Academic Honor Roll in every semester he's competed, including a semester in the Academic Excellence tier (4.0+ semester GPA) and winning the NE10 Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence for the 2021-22 academic year. Klotsche also finished second in the 100-meter backstroke at the NE10 Championships (52.65, 0.45 shy of program record.). He also boasts three consecutive D2ADA Academic Achievement Awards, dating back to the 2019-20 academic year.

Rivers' tremendous season is rounded out by this academic honor, as he finished second in both the 200 IM (1:51.73) and 200-free (1:40.84) at the NE10 Championships in February. He has made the NE10 Academic Honor Roll three separate times, all in the Academic Distinction tier (3.50-3.99 semester GPA.). Rivers finished his this season improving on what he did as a freshman, when he was named both Adelphi's Male Rookie of the Year and the NE10 Rookie of the Year.

Dalrymple puts another notch on his academic career, adding an Academic All-Conference selection to his five semesters on the NE10 Academic Honor Roll, with four of those on the Academic Distinction tier. Dalrymple added four points to the men's total when he clocked in at 21.44 in the 50-yard freestyle finals and was on the winning medley relay teams. He also won the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award for the 2021-22 academic year.

The Adelphi men's swimming and diving team tied a program-best finish at the 2022-23 NE10 Championships, where the Panthers finished fourth in the field.
