Mansfield, Mass. - As the regular season concluded on Tuesday evening, the Northeast-10 Conference office released the seeding for both the men's and women's tournaments ahead of the 2022-23 Basketball Tournaments, scheduled to begin on Friday, Feb. 24.

For the first time since the 2016-17 season, Southern New Hampshire has won the Northeast-10 Conference regular season championship and has claimed the top seed in the upcoming Men's Basketball Championship, as Le Moyne and Assumption share the regular season crown on the women's side with the Dolphins earning the tiebreak to get the top seed. 

For Adelphi, both the men and women will enter the playoffs as the 10-seed, as all teams in the conference make the tournament after a return to a non-divisional structure in 2022-23, following the departure of Stonehill at the eend of the spring semester. 

The women will face Southern Connecticut State University on Friday at 5:00 p.m. inside the James Moore Field House. In their last time out against the Owls, the Panthers lost their fourth straight, 67-54, despite double-figure scoring from Ty'zhea Hawkins and Jenna Jordan. 

For the men, they will take on Pace University for the third time this season, with their previous two contests being decided by five or fewer points. In the first meeting on Jan. 4, the Setters capitalized in overtime to secure an 82-79 victory. 

Games for all rounds of the NE10 Basketball Championship will be available on NE10 NOW, the Conference's digital streaming platform, via NE10NOW.tv or by downloading the mobile app. Admission for all rounds of the Championship is $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and youth, and free for all NE10 students with a valid ID.
