Jamesville, N.Y. - The Adelphi University women's golf team claimed the program's second team title on Monday at the Le Moyne Fall Invitational at the Pompey Club.

The Panthers made program history with a team score of 669 (339-330) on the Par 72 course. This is the lowest score ever recorded since the team's inaugural season in 2014.

Hannah Trinh led Adelphi by carding a team- and career-best 160. Trinh sat third on the leaderboard at the end of Round 1 with a score of 81. The sophomore then improved two strokes to a career-best 79 across the latter 18 holes, earning a second-place finish in the process.

Ilaria Ponziani was right behind Trinh in fourth. She shot an 82 in the first round and an 81 on the second day for a 36-hole score of 163. Also finishing in the Top 10 was Emily McKenna. The junior posted a 169 (84-85) for a seventh-place finish.

Rounding out the scoring for Adelphi were Alexis Cokinos (13th) and Amy McCaffrey (15th), finishing with scores of 177 (92-85) and 182 (93-89), respectively.

The Panthers are back in action this weekend (Sept. 26-27) at the Franklin Pierce Fall Invitational. The tournament will be played at the Keene Country Club in Keene, N.H.
