| Box Score 2 Garden City, N.Y. - Wrapping up the three-game homestand, the Adelphi volleyball team kep their win streak alive against Nyack College, taking a three-game sweep from the Warriors on Saturday afternoon. 

After today's win, the Panthers (6-2) remain undefeated against Nyack, winning in three sets every game except the Sept. 5, 2002 meeting. 

Adelphi held an advantage in every category including seven service aces, compared to their opponents two. The Warriors (0-5) put up a fight in the opening set, only falling by five points, but were held to a negative team hitting percentage in the second set as the hosts took a 25-10 decision. 

Throughout the final set, the Panthers committed their most errors yet, but still managed to secure a 25-17 win to finish the weekend 2-1 overall. 

Brenna Valsted paced the offense with a season-high 29 assists, while adding 13 digs for her second double-double of 2021, as Samantha Meehan added double-digit kills with 10. 

Head Coach Danielle Macknight and her squad hit the road for their next four contests, starting with a trip to the University of Bridgeport on Wednesday, Sept. 15.
