Austin, TX - The 2021 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom and have selected Jamie Yonker of Adelphi University to the First Team, announced last week. 

The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. First-team Academic All-District® honorees, like Yonker advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot.

Most recently announced as the Northeast-10 Libero of the Year, she led the conference in digs (584) and digs (5.62) per set with 13 games collecting 20 or more digs. Her season-high 38 came in a five-set battle against Holy Family and was just two shy of the program record for digs in a single game (40, Katarina Warburton). She was also included on the NE10 All-Conference First Team and currently boasts a 3.50 GPA as she pursues a degree in exercise science.

The Division II and III CoSIDA Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2020-21 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CoSIDA Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office
