Garden City, N.Y. - In an effort to welcome the Adelphi University basketball programs back to their home court, the department of athletics is pleased to announce that admission for the women's and men's games this weekend will be free of charge for all fans and supporters.
The Panthers, who return to the CRS Gymnasium for an official contest for the first time since March 2020, are slated to open their home season this Saturday, November 20 against the College of Saint Rose. Tip-off for the women's game is set for 1:30 p.m. with the men to follow at 3:30 p.m.
Fans are required to follow the rules below, when attending home contests at Adelphi.
2021 Winter Fan/Spectator Policy at Adelphi University
- Upon entry to the athletic facilities, all fans must show proof of vaccination OR a negative PCR test result within 72-hours of the event, OR a negative rapid test result within 24 hours of the event.
- Fans will be required to complete the Adelphi University Self-Screening form prior to arrival to campus on the same event date. The link is: COVID-19 Self Screening Form
- Social distancing is encouraged in all athletic facilities.
- Face masks MUST be worn indoors (and outdoors when social distancing can't be achieved), per Adelphi University policy.
Ticket prices for future games will be $5 general admission for women's games and men's games, with seatback prices for the men's games set at $6.
