Oceanside, N.Y. - The Adelphi University men's tennis team was swept by Bentley University in its final match of the 2018-19 season at the Point Set Indoor Racquet Club on Saturday.
Prior to the start of the match, the Panthers (3-10, 3-6 NE10) took a moment to recognize their lone senior,
Connor Dove, who contested his last match of his career.
The senior partnered
Sabin Adrian Saveluc in a tight 6-4 defeat at No.1 doubles, and also fell 6-3, 6-2 at No.6 singles.Â
Adelphi won one set in the match overall, as
David Leader took his opponent to a decider at No.5 singles before falling in three.Â
