Men's and Women's Hoops to Feature on Fox College Sports Atlantic at SNHU on Tuesday

Manchester, N.H. - The Adelphi University basketball teams will make their cable television debut in the 2018-19 season on Tuesday night, as the Panthers' doubleheader at Southern New Hampshire University will be broadcast on Fox College Sports Atlantic. 

The women's game will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. with the men to follow at 8 p.m. from Stan Spirou Fieldhouse on SNHU's Manchester campus. 

Where to Watch: To find Fox College Sports Atlantic on your cable provider, do so via the Fox Sport Channel finder. For those whose cable providers do not carry the channel, the game will be simulcast online on the SNHU portal of NE10Now, the Northeast-10 Conference digital network. 

Adelphi (9-10, 6-6 NE10) vs. SNHU (12-7, 6-6 NE10) - Women
The Panthers snapped a four-game skid with a 79-53 win over Franklin Pierce University at home on Saturday afternoon, and will look to win back-to-back games for the first time since Jan. 5-9 against SNHU on Tuesday. Last time out, the Brown and Gold posted its largest margin of victory on the season in a 26-point defeat of the Ravens, with four players in double figures and Leonie Edringer and Niajah Morgan both tallying double-doubles. 

The Penmen are seeking their third straight victory, and boast a 9-2 record on home court so far this season. The SNHU women have not lost a home game in nearly two months, dating back to a 70-65 setback to then-national No.5 Bentley on Dec. 5.

The all-time series between the Panthers and Penmen is tied, 5-5, with Adelphi having won five straight dating back to the 2013-14 season. SNHU's last win came on Jan. 26, 2013 in Manchester, 76-56.

Adelphi (13-7, 7-5 NE10) vs. SNHU (10-7, 6-6 NE10) - Men
Adelphi is currently on a hot streak, having won seven of its last eight games and look to win a fourth in a row against the Penmen on Tuesday night. The Brown and Gold erased a double-digit first-half deficit against Franklin Pierce in Garden City on Saturday, anchored in part by a 30-point afternoon from Jack Laffey, to win, 86-68.

The Penmen are on a three-game winning streak on home court, and will look to get back to their winning ways after dropping a 79-72 decision at American Int'l over the weekend. The last time out at home, the Penmen defeated Saint Rose in overtime, 88-85, scoring a victory against one of the five NE10 conference opponents that have beaten Adelphi this season.

SNHU leads the all-time season series between the two teams, 12-7, but the Panthers won the last regular-season meeting between the two clubs. Adelphi earned a 98-89 win on Jan. 23, 2018 in Garden City, but lost both the regular-season meeting and the NE10 quarterfinal matchup against the Penmen in Manchester in the 2016-17 season.
