Box Score Oceanside, N.Y. - The Adelphi University women's tennis team ran its winning streak to four straight matches on Tuesday afternoon, as it blanked the Flacons from Bentley University in a 6-0 overall match.
The match, originally scheduled for Sept. 9, was played indoors at the Point Set Rackey Club in Oceanside.Â
The Panthers (7-2, 6-2 NE10) and Falcons (1-8, 0-8 NE10) each fielded a five-player roster in the abridged match, which was dominated by Adelphi at nearly all flights. The Panthers dropped just one game in two doubles sets, and lost just two games combined at the second through fifth singles flights.
The toughest match of the day was won by sophomore
Nicole Kielan at No.1 singles, as she rallied for a victory after dropping the first set to Hannah Fabianski.Â
