Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University women's tennis team opened the Northeast-10 Conference portion of its schedule in emphatic fashion on Wednesday afternoon, surrendering six games in nine total matches to sweep the American International College Yellow Jackets on home court.
Three 8-0 victories in doubles set the tone for the Panthers (2-0, 1-0 NE10) on the afternoon, as Adelphi moved into singles and won three matches 6-0, 6-0 thanks to

Vanja Savic down the lineup from flights four through six.
Playing at No. 2 singles for the first time in her college career, freshman
Nicole Kielan made a statement, winning 6-0, 6-3.
