Syracuse, N.Y. - The Adelphi University women's tennis team closed out the road portion of its regular season Northeast-10 Conference schedule with a 7-2 win over the Le Moyne College Dolphins on Saturday afternoon.

Adelphi (11-1, 10-1 NE10) ran the gamut in sweeping doubles, beginning with a dominant 8-1 win for Elizabeth Kallenberg and Samantha Perri at No.2, and ending with a tiebreak victory for Rebecca Fakas and Karen Serina at No.1 to secure the 3-0 lead.

Fakas, the reigning NE10 Player of the Week, kept her momentum going with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No.1 singles, one of four two-set wins the Panthers secured to earn victory over the Dolphins (10-3, 8-3 NE10). Nicole Kielan edged a tight opener against Amica Benoit-Limosani before bageling her in the second set, while Perri and Kallenberg also chipped in singles wins.

The Panthers return to action for their regular season finale at home tomorrow, Oct. 15 when they welcome Saint Anselm to Garden City for Senior Day. First serve is set for 11 a.m. and prior to the match, the Panthers will honor Fakas, Kallenberg and Vanja Savic as the three graduating seniors.
