Garden City, N.Y. -- The Adelphi University women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to the visiting Merrimack College Warriors on Sunday afternoon on their home courts, falling behind 2-1 after doubles and unable to rally from behind.
The Panthers (2-1, 2-1 NE-10) dropped their first match in over a year, after having posted an undefeated season to win the Northeast-10 Championship last season. The Brown and Gold's lone match win in doubles came at second flight, as

Samantha Perri did not concede a game to Danielle Dunn and Mackenzie Blair. The Warriors clinched the win in singles, securing four wins in two sets, while
