Mansfield, Mass. - After completion of the 2015-16 regular season last night, the Northeast-10 Conference Championship is set to get underway this weekend with the Adelphi University men's and women's basketball teams both earning berths.
The reigning NE-10 Champion women's basketball team finished this season with a 10-10 conference mark to earn the fifth seed out of the Southwest Division. The Panthers travel to Rindge, N.H. this Friday evening for a 7:00 pm tip-off at Franklin Pierce, the fourth seed in the Northeast Division. The Ravens claimed the lone meeting this season, a 59-44 victory at home back on Wednesday, January 6.
Meanwhile, the men's team is scheduled to host its first postseason game since the 2012-13 season by welcoming Stonehill on Sunday for a 3:00 pm started. The Brown and Gold finished the regular season as the two seed out of the Southwest Division behind a 12-8 record. Meanwhile, the Skyhawks travel to Garden City as the Northeast Division's third seed behind a 15-6 league record. Stonehill upended the Panthers 77-60 on Wednesday, January 20 during the only meeting of the year.

Notes:
- The women's team won its first NE-10 Championship last season by defeating American International in the Championship Final.
- The men's team won its only NE-10 Championship back in the 2010-11 season at the seventh seed, upending top-seeded Bentley.
