MANSFIELD, Mass. – After a successful fall season, Adelphi University currently stands atop the Northeast-10 Conference Presidents' Cup standings with 89.0 points as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. The league will present the eventual winning institution with the Presidents' Cup at the annual year-end banquet, which is held in June each year in conjunction with the league meetings.
The Panthers won three NE-10 titles this fall – women's tennis, women's soccer and volleyball – taking both the regular season and NE-10 Championship crowns in all three. In addition to racking up 43 points from those three championship teams, Adelphi also earned a share of the regular season title in field hockey while tying for second in the men's soccer standings, earning a combined 25 points from the two sports.
