Tournament Central Page
Garden City, N.Y. - With the upcoming NCAA Division II Volleyball Tournament East Region beginning Thursday on the campus of Adelphi University, a tournament central page with all information has been updated for the weekend.
The quarterfinal round is set to get underway at 12:00 pm on Thursday with the second seeded Purple Knights of Bridgeport facing local rival New Haven, the seventh seed, followed by the third seeded Dowling taking on sixth seeded Franklin Pierce to conlude the afternoon session. In the evening session, the host and top seeded Panthers welcome Post, the eighth seed, at 5:00 pm before the final match of the day at 7:30 pm between the four and five seeds, NYIT and LIU Post.
The semfinal matches are scheduled for 5:00 pm and 7:30 pm on Friday followed by the Regional Championship on Saturday at 7:00 pm. All matches are set to be played inside the
Center for Recreation and Sport on the campus of Adelphi. Tickets for each session are $8 for general admission, $4 for Senior Citizens and children, and $2 for students with a valid school ID.
