West Haven, Conn. - The Adelphi University women's tennis team ran its current winning streak to five matches with a 7-2 win against the Chargers of the University of New Haven on Tuesday. In a match that was forced indoors due to inclement weather, the Panthers and Chargers played at the Tennis Center at Yale University. The Panthers were forced to default at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles, but did not drop a set in the remaining matches to claim the victory.

The Brown and Gold (10-1, 8-0 NE-10) claimed both completed matches in doubles play to take the lead in the match, as the Chargers (3-6, 3-6 NE-10) claimed their only point via the default.
