Mansfield, Mass. - The Adelphi University women's volleyball team ended Northeast-10 Conference regular season play in a tie for fourth with the College of Saint Rose, but due to a head-to-head victory over the Golden Knights the Panthers earend the #4 seed in the upcoming Championship, which begins Tuesday.

Bentley University, the University of New Haven, and Stonehill College each ended the Northeast-10 Conference portion of their schedule with identical 11-3 marks, but by virtue of the league's tie-breaking procedure, the Chargers will be the top seed in the NE-10 Championship.

This is the first time in the history of the NE-10 that the regular season champion has more than one conference loss.  Additionally, since 1996, the conference's regular season champions have had a total of two losses in league play, and none since the calendar changed to the new millenium (2000).
