Orlando, Fla. - The Adelphi University women's tennis team beat Bluefield State College 7-2 on Friday, capping its Florida trip with its third straight win. The Panthers improve to 6-4 overall while the Blues drop to 6-10 on the season.
Adelphi came out swinging in doubles play and took all three matches, including a pair of 8-0 shutouts at the No. 2 and 3 slots. The Panthers continued to dominate in singles action and won the last four singles slots by a combined score of 18-3, 18-2.
The Panthers return to action on Tuesday when they host Goldey-Beacom College in non-league action at 2 p.m.
