Millersville, PA - The Adelphi University women's basketball team improved to 6-0 Sunday afternoon as they defeated Millersville University in a non-conference contest, 95-53. The Marauders drop to 3-2 as this decision marked Millersville's worst loss under Head Coach Mary Flieg and tied the most lopsided defeat since Jan. 28, 1990.
Jessica Kitrys led the offense with 16 points, going 6-12 from the field, 
Kelly Mannix contributed 15 points of her own as 
Calli Balfour and 
Tara Flynn each collected 14 points apiece. 
Sade Jackson flirted with a double-double, registering 13 assists and seven points in the victory.
The only lead the Marauders held was in the first half, two minutes in at a score of 6-5. Adelphi would then go on to score 59 more points as they led Millersville 64-23. Flynn and Mannix combined went 6-6 from beyond the arc in the first half alone.
Coming out of the locker room the Brown and Gold showed no signs of slowing down as they counted 8 points within two minutes. Freshman 
Sierra Schrader came off the bench with 13 minutes remaining in the game and collected 10 points for the Panthers.
