Box Score Waltham, MA - The Adelphi University volleyball team concluded its weekend swing thru New England on Saturday, November 9 with a trip to Waltham, Massachusetts to take on Bentley University. The Panthers dropped their third game in row, in straight sets to the Falcons, 17-25, 20-25 and 17-25. With the loss Adelphi falls to 17-11 overall and 9-4 in the Northeast-10.
Shelby Stoner led the Panthers with nine kills, while
Kaitlyn DeStefano chipped in nine.
Katie Bryson had a team-high 16 assists and both
Sierra Crook and
Haley Blunt reached double digits in digs with 12 and 10 respectively.
Bentley posted higher attack percentages then Adelphi in all three sets, .094-.321, .214-.469 and .103-.211, while also winning the kill battle in each game, 9-11, 10-17 and 8-14. Those advantages gave the Falcons three straight victories, 25-17, 25-20 and 25-17.
