Montclair, NJ - The Adelphi University swim team traveled to Montclair, New Jersey on Saturday, November 1 to share the pool with Montclair State University. The Panthers captured a combined four, first place finishes, but fell to the host Red Hawks. The men were turned away, 143-100, while the women suffered a 145-103 defeat.
Michael Mayer managed three of Adelphi's four individual first place finishes, out distancing Montclair in the 100 and 200 yard breaststrokes with times of 1:03.33 and 2:22.92. He also touched the wall first in the 200 yard individual medley, stopping the clock at 2:04.63.
Gabrielle Terzano was the lone first place finisher on the women's side, turning in a time of 2:24.32 in the 200 yard individual medley to claim first.
