Arlington, Texas - Panther fans can watch the Adelphi University bowling team in action all weekend as the United States Bowling Congress will provide three full days of live streaming from one of the top NCAA Women's Bowling events beginning on Friday.
The Kutztown Invitational will feature 28 teams from across the country and will be broadcast live on BOWL.com's BowlTV.
The Panthers had a strong showing at Kutztown's Baker Invitational in October, taking home the first place trophy in the season-opening event. Since then, Adelphi has posted an overall record of 34-11, good for an eighth-place ranking in the National Tenpin Coaches Association National Poll and the second-highest position in program history. Only three other teams have as many or more wins than the Panthers this season, including the hosts of this weekend's tournament.
Coverage will begin Friday at 11 a.m. Eastern with the opening day of the event, which will consist of six four-game Baker matches. On Saturday, competition begins at 9:30 a.m. Eastern with six traditional five-player game matches. The event will conclude Sunday with the Baker bracket-style matches starting at 8:30 a.m. Eastern.
The teams scheduled to compete in the Kutztown Invitational are Adelphi, Bethune-Cookman, Cheyney, Coppin State, Delaware State, Fairleigh Dickinson, Florida A&M, Salem International, Howard, Kutztown, Long Island, Medaille, Maryland Eastern Shore, Monmouth, Morgan State, New Jersey City, Penn State Altoona, North Carolina Central, Norfolk State, Sacred Heart, St. Francis (Pa.), St. Francis (N.Y.), Stephen F.
