Panthers put end to Penmen streak of 37 straight NE-10 regular season wins

Queens Village, N.Y. - The Adelphi University women's tennis team handed Southern New Hampshire University its first Northeast-10 Conference loss of the season and snapped the team's streak of 37 straight regular season wins by a score of 5-4 at the Alley Pond Tennis Center on Saturday. The Panthers, one of two remaining undefeated teams in the conference, improve to 12-3 overall and 7-0 in the NE-10, while SNHU drops to 11-5 overall and 8-1 in the league.

The Panthers and Penmen split singles play 3-3, with Samra Redzematovic, Joanna Haich and Carolyn Smith earning win.
