Women's Tennis has Win Streak Snapped at ASA, 6-3

Sophomore Gaby Adia earned a 6-2, 2-6 (10-6) win at No. 5 singles against ASA on Thursday.

Brooklyn, N.Y. - The Adelphi University women'st tennis team saw its six-match win streak snapped with a 6-3 setback against ASA College in non-league action on Thursday. The Panthers, now 7-2 on the season, return to the court  on Sunday, March 11 at the University of the District of Columbia at 10 a.m.

Sophomore Gaby Adia emerged victorious at the No. 5 singles position, battling to a 6-2, 2-6 (10-6) win. Adia was also dubbed the winner with freshman Joanna Haich by default at No. 3 doubles, while sophomore Taylor King walked away with a default victory at No. 6 singles.
