Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University volleyball team finished the Northeast-10 regular season with a conference mark of 13-2 earning the number two seed in the upcoming Volleyball Championship for the third time in four years.
The NE-10 Volleyball Championship begins Tuesday, November 13th with four first round matchups, and the conference champion will be crowned Saturday evening during the championship round. The top remaining seed following Tuesday's quarterfinal results will host the semifinal and final round.
The Northeast-10 Conference will be broadcasting the volleyball championship final live at northeast10.org and northeast10.tv on Saturday, November 17th. The Conference will also be providing live updates of all conference championship games on their Twitter feed (@TheNortheast10).
The University of New Haven earned the top seed in the Champiopnship with a spotless regular season mark of 15-0, while Adelphi was just two games behind the Chargers at 13-2. The Panthers will open Championship play on Tuesday, November 13 when they play host to #7 American International at 7:00 pm in the Center for Recreation and Sports. Live stats will be available through www.aupanthers.com and live video will be broadcast at www.aupanthers.tv. Ticket prices for the game are $6 for adults, $4 for children and seniors and students are $1 with a valid student ID from a NE-10 member school.
