Philadelphia, PA - The Adelphi University women's tennis team dropped its first match of the fall, suffering a 7-2 setback at Chestnut Hill College on Saturday. The Panthers slide to 3-1 overall and the Griffins finish the fall at 10-2.

Gaby Adia stood alone as the one player donning Brown and Gold to secure two victories on the day. Adia battled to a 9-8 (9-7) win at No. 6 singles and teamed up with
Joanna Haich for an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles.
The Panthers will open up their spring season in February of 2013 when they will look to defend their Northeast-10 Conference regular season title.
