Lucia Vigliotti made seven saves for Adelphi, who were narrowly edged by the Ravens in shots (13 to 12) and penalty corners (6 to 4).
For Franklin Pierce (1-1), sophomore Chanelle Letarte scored her team's lone goal to tie the game at 1-1 at the 23:11 mark in the first half.
Mulhern gave Adelphi an early edge on a one-timer off a centering feed from Heimerle just three minutes into the game, but Letarte's tally spelled a 1-all knot that would carry into the second half. The Panthers then exploded for four unanswered goals, the first two of which found Rahner and Heimerle hitting paydirt within a minute of each other. Cabral and Heimerle each added insurance goals on deflections to put the game out of reach.
The Panthers open Northeast-10 Conference play on Saturday when they host Assumption College at 1 p.m.
