New Haven, Conn. - The Adelphi University women's tennis team opened the season in dominant fashion with a 9-0 shutout at the University of New Haven on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers won all but four games in singles action and cruised to three 8-0 wins in doubles play. The win marks the first at the helm of the Panthers for first-year head coach Lauren Leo.
Women's tennis returns to action next Saturday at Queens College at 1 p.m.
