Worcester, Mass. - The Adelphi University men's tennis team traveled to Assumption College on Saturday afternoon for a league match with the Greyhounds. The Panthers cruised past Assumption for the 6-1 victory. Adelphi improves to 7-8 and 5-2 in the league, while Assumption drops to 2-9 and 1-6.

Graduate student Sebastian Nieves and senior Anton Voynov each won at top-flight and second-flight singles, respectively, while also teaming up to earn a victory at #1 doubles.

Senior Joseph Carbone and sophomore Adrish Tewarie also collected singles victories along with a win a #2 doubles.

The Panthers return to action tomorrow, April 10, when they host Stonehill College at noon.
