Men's Tennis Drops 6-3 Decision At Merrimack

The Adelphi University men's tennis team traveled to Rye, New Hampshire to take on Merrimack College on Sunday afternoon in a NE-10 Conference match. The Warriors defeated the Panthers, 6-3. Merrimack improves to 4-1 and 2-0 in the league, while Adelphi drops to 3-4 and 2-1.

In doubles action, the Panthers picked up their lone victory at top-flight when graduate student Sebastian Nieves and senior Anton Voynov teamed up to collect the 8-6 victory.

In singles play, senior Joseph Carbone won at fourth-flight, 9-7, in a Pro Set, while sophomore Adrish Tewarie eared a 9-7 victory in a Pro Set as well.

The Panthers return to action on Monday, March 14 when they take on Bentley University in Orlando, Florida.
