Women's Tennis Roars Past Dowling, 9-0

Panthers win second straight match

Junior Samra Redzematovic lifted the Panthers with a 6-0, 6-0 win at #3 singles.
Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University women's tennis team cruised past Dowling College by a score of 9-0 at home on Friday afternoon. The Panthers are now 2-1 on the season and 1-0 in Northeast-10 Conference play.

The tandems of Michelle Gurda and Samra Redzematovic
(#2 doubles) and Joanna Haich and Gaby Adia (#3 doubles) each earned perfect 8-0 victories in doubles action, and Redzematovic and Adia worked to perfect 6-0, 6-0 wins in singles play as well.

The Panthers return to action today with a 3 p.m. NE-10 match against Assumption.
