Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi University senior Thorne Holder (Port of Spain, Trinidad) has been named Atlantic Soccer Conference (ASC) Goalkeeper of the Week as announced by the conference office on September 7. This is the first ASC honor of the season for Holder.

Holder, notched a pair of shutouts in the first week of competition, helping the Panthers to victories over Fordham and Syracuse. He made a pair of saves in 106:51 minutes of action against Fordham before stopping three shots in 100:52 minutes of play in a win over Syracuse. He was a First-Team All-ASC selection last season.

The Panthers return to action on Thursday, September 9 when they play host to the Red Foxes of Marist at 7:00 pm on Motamed Field.
